Chaoqin Pan is a partner at Merits & Tree Law Offices. Prior to joining M&T, she worked at Dacheng Law Offices and Allbright Law Offices.

Her main practice areas are PE/VC, M&A, and capital markets, with nearly a decade of legal experience. Ms. Pan has represented numerous well-known investment institutions and well-known enterprises in nearly a hundred private equity financing projects. She is proficient in setting up and dismantling red-chip structures, foreign investment, overseas direct investment, and other transaction structures, as well as the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. The relevant Industries she involve in include bio-medical health and life sciences, TMT, consumer goods, high-tech and artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, new energy, education, and finance. Ms. Pan has accompanied several high-growth startups and mid-to-late stage enterprises, providing legal services for their structure building, financing, ESOP, and perennial matters. In addition, she also has relevant project experience in investment funds, securities offering and listing, major asset restructuring, and cross-border M&A.
