    Tao Jiang is a partner at Merits & Tree. Prior to joining Merits & Tree, Mr. Jiang worked at King & Wood Malleson and Commerce and Finance Law Offices.

     

    Mr. Jiang’s practice areas mainly include Capital Markets, PE/VC, M&A, and Investment Funds, and has extensive experience. Mr. Jiang assisted dozens of businesses in successfully listing at home and abroad capital markets, including Shanghai and Shenzhen, Hong Kong, the United States, Germany, and Singapore; and represented private equity investment institutions and startup enterprises in completing over a hundred PE/VC projects, in the industry sectors including biomedicine, TMT, new energy and new materials, advanced manufacturing and consumption, etc. In the field of investment funds, Mr. Jiang assisted governmental guidance funds and market-oriented mother funds to invest in a substantial number of sub-funds, and aided private equity management firms in establishing multiple private equity investment funds, encompassing various fund types such as venture capital funds, listed company M&A funds, and cross-border M&A funds.
